Great reader, mixed read

Very well read by ArgyEll (RGL?). I can't imagine there are many Librivox volunteers who could do the accents. The only glaring mispronunciation was "apostolic" -- probably not one for future reference, although doctrinal differences between Christian denominations do feature quite heavily in places here. The story itself is a ripping yarn very much of its time, with barely credible events and a cast of bizarre characters. It did keep my interest, though. It seems to have been something of a potboiler. The setting is supposedly Northumberland, yet the court scene is in Scotland, with a sheriff presiding and a fiscal. There are other inconsistencies too.
